Short Term Quantitative Developer (f/d/m)

Your new position:

• Work in short term power trading and drive trading decisions using the fundamentals
• Support our algorithms to make better commercial decisions
• Use data to analyse the market and develop trading strategies
• You support the development of an analysis platform to sharpen the market view and enhance future strategies in cooperation with other trading departments
• You will work on renewable energies, such as Wind and PV as well as flexibility assets, such as batteries and electrolysers on a modern cloud IT technology platform
• Create and improve analytical dashboards using Business Intelligence tools

Your profile:

• Advanced degree in natural science, engineering or economics (diploma, master or PhD level)
• Knowledge of energy markets, statistical models, and time series analysis is desired
• Good programming skills in object-oriented programming, ideally Python and Javascript
• Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL or any database query language, is advantageous
• Team player with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Entrepreneurial attitude, strong willingness to perform and learn as well as a hands-on mentality
• Very good German and English language skills
